This role is pivotal in leading Altium’s sales initiatives in Japan, focusing particularly on renewal business with existing clients. Role: Japanese TeleNetwork Sales Executives

This position is specifically targeted at individuals with a deep understanding of the Japanese market, having gained significant experience in this cultural and regulatory landscape. The role is largely based in Tokyo, with flexible options for work arrangements, including remote work, catering to candidates based in either Japan or other parts of the world who can relocate in due course.

Responsibilities:

Target Achievement: Focused on renewing existing client subscriptions and achieving overall financial targets. This involves strategic planning, prioritization of sales activities, and diligent engagement with both current customers and potential prospects toward goal attainment.

Telemarketing Excellence: Leveraging your skill sets in cold calling, maintaining high call volumes or talk time per day, and exceeding established performance benchmarks. Indepth knowledge of effective sales strategies within Japan will be crucial.

Customer Engagement and Success: Dedicated liaison with clients to articulate the value proposition of Altium solutions, driving adoption through enterprise agreements. Ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving maximum contract value are paramount responsibilities.

Effective Communication and Partnership: Selfdriven execution with strong interpersonal skills, nurturing and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, including decisionmakers. Creativity and commitment to communication about Altium’s value across Japanese markets are required.

Marketing and Sales Enablement: Active participation in networking, events, and other promotional activities. Developing a thorough understanding of Altium, its competitive landscape, and industry trends, ensuring alignment with business strategies.

Qualifications and Experience Required

For this position, Altium seeks candidates with:

Education Background: A bachelor's degree in Electronic Design, Business, Communication, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Sales Experience: A minimum of 23 years of substantiated sales experience, particularly in the software domain.

Strategic Thinking: The ability to create and execute targeted sales strategies that lead to financial targets, showcased through a proven track record.

Professional Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with the capability to effectively communicate Altium’s strategic proposition to clients and influence decisionmaking processes.

Accountability and Focus: Selfmotivated, resultsoriented with a positive perspective and a clear focus on achieving highquality work and maximizing business profits.

Customer Service Acumen: A strong commitment to providing superior customer service and a clear desire for being among the top sales representatives.

CRM Proficiency: Expertise in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases, specifically Salesforce, for efficient customer and prospect management.

Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken English, alongside conversational Japanese, essential for effective interaction with Japanese clients and stakeholders.
